Kitchen Island
Kitchen island with storage shelves. 1:12 scale. White exterior with Early American stain. All supplies are included for the island color as photoed. If you want to paint your island another color, please bring your own paint and stain. I suggest a semi gloss finish paint. No experience necessary.

Yard Items
You will have be making the following quarter scale items for your yard: trellis, hanging plants, birdhouse, flower box and waterfall. The class will be Thursday morning from 8:30 – 11:30. You will need to bring pointed tweezers and glue.

Cake Class
You will be making a selection of cakes out of clay

Bread making class
Will teach how to make a French bread loaf, challah bread (with poppy seeds or without), dinner rolls, and hot cross buns.

Witch’s or Wizard’s Hat
A hat you hang on the wall. This witch’s or wizard’s hat holds a room 2” x 3”. Which room would you choose: Séance room? Potion room? Kitchen? The workshop will be making and completing the hat itself. A neutral background paper will be provided. A finished hutch is included for you to paint and fill with a variety of available items that will be just perfect for the scene you choose.

Fine Tuning Finishes
The students will learn a variety of hands-on wood finishing techniques. There will also be the opportunity to practice aging methods on painted surfaces and discover ways to make their miniature work reflect a realistic look of wear and tear. the instructor is known for his aged and worn finishes. He will provide individual instruction to each student as they experience some new ideas and be encouraged to think outside the box. Each student will leave with a finished project, samples of finishes, and written support materials.
